 Surgimend is the bovine collagen form of Alloderm and Belladerm. The first problem you will have is that it is only 1mm thick per sheet (and those are the thickest you can get). Three sheets stacked are only 1/10th of an Inch and this stuff should not be stacked as it needs to vascularize and the layers that touch each other are a breeding ground for bacteria. If it is like Alloderm and Belladerm than it might also have the tendency to shrink and harden as it dies from lack of blood flow over the course of a year, but I don't know if this stuff is better for vascularizing than Alloderm or Belladerm. Dr. Solomon has been around a long time and is considered legit, however.
