It's a place filled with blood vessels and not easy to enlarge permanently and presenting safety issues when it comes to the injections. There are also issues with filler resorption there. There have been publications of HA for PE lasting over 2 yrs. But surprisingly it can take quite a bit. Thicker materials - especially more paste like base - have had some issue with causing ulcers that heal with an indent. There have been surgeries described placing material into the head - but not something I would want to do.
