They use both 10% and 30% LinneaSafe PMMA. My first round was entirely 30% and the results were great. There are some minor imperfections but overall love the results. For round two I don't need to gain as much Girth as I did the first time. I'm close to my goal. I don't want to go too big in the shaft lest my glans look like an acorn on a tree stump. Dr. M suggested going 50/50 with 30% and 10% to prioritize aesthetics while still adding some Girth. Dr. C then suggested she could mix even amounts to get to a 20% concentration. They described a sterile mixing apparatus were you pump in a syringe of each through tubes into a third, double sized syring, cycling the product back and forth using the plungers until it's fully mixed in the new syringe. Sounds weird to me--like why isn't 20% commercially available, don't we frown upon custom proprietary mixes? But I really have no idea and these docs have done right by me so far. Another poster said he thought that wasn't really done anymore so I'm wondering if there's a history here I'm not aware of. Any reason to think mixing to get to 20% is better/worse/different than just going back and forth between 30% and 10% syringes? That is very different than something like a proprietary filler that is made up of ingredients that aren't regulated and obtained from questionable or unknown sources. It is also very different than mixing more than one kind of filler (which frankly I can't say for certain is innately wrong). The problem with the *proprietary formula* espoused by a few Clinics in the US are more so because they are likely using silicone oil which is bad news, and in addition to that there is no telling where it's sourced or what the quality control is like in their manufacturing. That's specifically what's *frowned upon.* This here is as innocuous as it gets frankly. The 30% and 10% are the same exact products and only differ by microsphere volume. You see, before Linnea Safe, they had 20% Metacrill (which was the very first thing I got in 2011) and Linnea Safe simply doesn't produce it. So the solution is simple, take a 10% and a 30% and find a means to blend it in such a way that the end result is approximately 20%. There is no meaningful change in the risk-profile if it's only a matter of redistributing the microsphere density in the exact same carrier. If a Clinic was a bit sophomoric with their handling of PMMA, I might be a tad bit concerned perhaps - but only because I don't know how well I can trust that they will actually achieve 20%. The first ever penile patient reported by Avanti was I believe circa 2009 (before the PhalloBoards), and they were doing other procedures with PMMA even before that... so Avanti Derma has been handling this specific Dermal Filler for nearly 20 years now... no exaggeration, hence why I'd I trust them with the 20% approach, no doubt.
