But from a surgical and anatomical standpoint, **injection depth has little to do with aesthetic quality — and everything to do with safety.** At Rejuvall, we frequently see men seeking **Revision and corrective treatment** after being injected too deeply or in the wrong tissue plane. These cases don’t just involve visible issues like **nodules, granulomas, and migration**; they sometimes involve **vascular injury, loss of sensation, painful erections, and erectile dysfunction** caused by misplaced filler compressing or disrupting the underlying neurovascular structures. **Understanding the Layers That Matter** To understand why “deeper” is not necessarily better, it helps to know what lies beneath the surface: **1. Skin and Dartos fascia (Superficial Layer)** This is the safest plane for Girth enhancement injections. It provides a defined compartment for the filler to integrate naturally with the tissue. **2.
