I was just saying that I had a total of (4) procedures. In the last procedure which was Procedure #4, i received 5 Bellafill syringes (base and shaft), 5 Voluma Syringes (base and shaft) and 2mL of Silikon (to the head). I had different amounts in procedures 1, 2 and 3. Hope that clarifies it a bit better. The Bellafill's PMMA microspheres take over as the Voluma is absorbed, creating a scaffold that stimulates the body to produce its own natural collagen over time, reinforcing the augmentation. I'm all for creative implementations of combining FDA approved fillers assuming they don't increase chances of complications, but the reasoning provided seems more of a redundancy than a novelty (respectfully). The Bellafill is pretty immediate because of its carrier, you don't need the Hyaluronic Acid (HA) for that. The HA will dissipate over time, so I'm not sure their combination (even if in succession rather than simultaneous) offers any benefits than having gone Bellafill alone... other than the HA being used as a regular top-off and/or touch-up over the foundation of Bellafill's Girth... which I guess is the best use-scenario? If that is indeed the case, then sure, I suppose one could go that route, but it seems rather... unnecessary almost? If you're going to do annual top-offs of HA anyways (at least presumably), why not just one or the other? Again, I don't think it's a *bad* modality all things considered, but I'm not sure I'm sold on the explanation to make sense of this approach. Especially the secondary claim you made: *"allows for a thicker, more natural-looking appearance that can last for years"* -- it feels more of a sales pitch than being grounded in actual medicine/science, but then again, it could also be a clever innovation for all I know. That's the beauty of this platform, the opportunity to discuss it all and make sense of things that can benefit most men who are seeking out enhancement for improvements in self-image & confidence. As I mentioned earlier, Dr. Carney first lays down a layer of HA to "prime" the tissue so that the risk of granuloma or nodules from the Bellafill on a "virgin" penis is much, much lower. He does not inject both at the same time, the HA must set first before he can add the Bellafill. Your risk of complications from PMMA is much higher without that foundational layer of HA.
