I understand that many of you hav gotten outstanding results, but I am trying to better understand what they risks are in terms of Nodules/asymmetries and infections, and how difficult each one of these would be to fix if they arose. For instance, if I am looking for an Inch Girth gain, what is the likelihood that I end up with nodules? How often do the nodules go away on their own? How often do you have to go back and have them removed, and how difficult is this to do? Similarly, I have read of guys getting infections after doing a few rounds. I am wondering if this is a real concern or something that rarely happens; how devastating is it if it does happen and can it be fixed without looking horrible? Is there a surefire way to prevent it? Any advice helps, thank you! Penile enhancement (PE) typically involves 15–20 mL, and published PE data show higher rates: In a Korean study (301 men, 42 received PMMA, 15–20 mL): persistent nodules/deformity in 7.2 %, any local adverse event 14.3 %. Single-surgeon series (729 men, mean 18 mL PMMA): ~52 % felt palpable irregularities, yet only 0.4 % needed surgical Removal. These studies place the true persistent-Nodule / granuloma rate for PE at roughly 5–8 %, versus < 3 % with low-volume facial use. Nodules seldom disappear completely, but intralesional steroid (± 5-FU) or manual disruption usually makes them much smaller and softer; most end up tiny and unnoticed, and some patients even enjoy the added texture. Think it increases their partners sensation. Surgical excision is a last-resort option for the rare case. Infection risk Skin carries normal bacteria and filler is a foreign material, so a small infection risk is unavoidable. Fortunately infections are rare; when they appear, prompt antibiotics (occasionally plus drainage) almost always achieve rapid resolution. Overall, large-volume PMMA penile enhancement remains a very safe procedure, but—like any intervention—it carries risks of nodules and infection that must be discussed upfront.
