TOPIC: Doctor referral

In my quest for more information and hope, I’m looking to see if anyone has a referral to a doctor in the Austin Texas area. Someone who can help rebuild my penis and if that includes filler, that would be good too. I am a little over five weeks out out of surgery to remove The filler and it’s pretty hideous. It’s very grotesque I will leave it at that. So I’m looking for someone to help rebuild if necessary which I know it’s early but would love recommendations in/near Austin. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, the area of aesthetic injectable Phalloplasty is not a common study or mainstream amongst most Reconstructive Surgeons who are more likely to be dealing with injuries associated with accidents, trauma, and illness. In your instance, you have to find someone both familiar with your procedure (a plus if they are intimately familiar with the nuances of your specific procedure) and have a good (if not great) reputation in this area of Revision & Repair.

I have (and will continue) to strongly suggest Dr. Carney in Atlanta, Georgia, but the alternatives I'd recommend (irrespective of their status as Sponsors) are even farther from your location and so I see no reason to add them to the list unless you want more "2nd opinions" (you can write to me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more sources and names, but I will stand by Dr. Carney as being arguably the most familiar with this particular complication & treatment).

The reality is, given your situation and the unfortunate nature of having to deal with less-than-ethical practitioners involving a niche medical procedure, I would do whatever I can to make time for actual specialists in this area, which again, are far & few in-between.

Have you tried reaching out to Rejuvall? Are there logistical considerations that are forcing you to remain local?

What did Dr Carney have to say? What was your impression ?

I didn’t get to talk to him, but I talked to two other guys and sent pictures. We’ll have to wait until things are healed, but I am interested in maybe going out for an evaluation when things are further along.

Who did your injections in the first place and where did you have it removed?

David Dellinger did the initial injections. After nine months of massaging the nodules per his direction, they did not change and so I went in to have them reduced with Kenalog, which he said would take care of it until the day I went to get it done, and then he said it wouldn’t work. So I lost faith and trust in him so I went to my Urologist doctor Bryan Kansas in Austin and I am disfigured now. I’m waiting until June/July to have it degloved and skin grafted so that it will look somewhat normal. I will still be deformed/disfigured just supposedly in a different/less way. Feel free to reach out to me. I would not have it removed again if I had the choice to go back. It had its issues but nowhere near like this.

How did your Removal go if you don’t mind me asking?

I’m considering it. I don’t necessarily think I’m in danger and absolutely need it asap, but honestly, I’d rather deal with it now before I get too old. I personally just want a healthy penis again.
I did my injections back in 2015. My didn’t even want me to, I wanted to because I thought it would be cool to have some extra Girth and make things a little more fun. Before filler, I had it pierced and honestly I wish I had just left the piercings in but what’s done is done.

I think my biggest concern is long term health issues.

It went well considering. I did get one small spot where an ulcer formed and is taking a longer time to heal, but aside from that it has been good. It will never be like original, but is better than when it had lots of PMMA in it.

There s more to it than just what I just wrote and once I get off my ass, I plan to do a write up on the experience here.

I totally regret having the filler done. There were moments when it looked really amazing but the final l procedure was a disaster. I looked back at the original penis and think why on earth did I do this?? But we all want to tweak something I guess and rather than tweak it. It went out of hand.
Depending on how it looks and how it’s feeling/making you sick or not, you may consider leaving it. I wished I had not had the filler and now I wish I had not had the Removal given it was botched.

Just look all the posts here about the guys who have gotten or are waiting to get PMMA done. Almost everyone is desperate enough to think it will be all ok and nothing bad will happen to them. Unfortunately, nothing is perfectly safe and eventually somebody is going to get a bad one and everyone here hopes it is not them. Basically we are all playing Russian roulette with our dicks.

The original poster had silicone injected, not PMMA, let's make that perfectly clear. While complications can happen with other fillers, atxguy (and others) seem to report a greater frequency of issues when involved certain Doctors and non-FDA approved fillers.
