Allergan is hoping for 2025 approval. It is firmer than HA and it would be partially dissolvable. Yes I think it would be a sweet spot between PMMA and HA. Typically a change from a government regulatory body is meant to ensure the product meets mandated standards, which generally is a good thing. I'd much prefer patience and a quality product than to rush something out that has a glaring issue that we, the public, clearly are not aware of (yet). Additionally, I believe the glans is a high-risk area for filler placement in general. It's also important to note that CaHA filler is not typically used in the lips because it’s not considered safe or appropriate in that area—I see the glans as anatomically and structurally similar to the lips, and for that reason, I plan on avoiding using CaHA fillers in the glans as well.
