However it has softened over time. I top it off more for aesthetics than anything probably once a year give or take. Only unforeseen problem is it’s a never ending money pit if you plan to keep it up lol . As I understand it's so expensive in the US because the product itself is way more expensive here. After that, patients usually receive a top off (a lesser amount of product that was used on their initial build) either once a year or once every two or three years. I have seen retention as long as five years in duration, but that is probably less than 20% of the cases. Hyaluronic acid fillers, surprisingly have much higher retention for enhancement than when used in the face which is only approximately 1 year.
