I had penis lengthening surgery a few years ago in London, the suspensory ligament was severed and a silicone buffer / ball was put in between to prevent reattachment. I got good results from the surgery and gained 1” in FL.

Unfortunately very recently the buffer got dislodged / prolapsed forwards and became very uncomfortable and easily visible / palpable under the skin. I had this to have this removed a few days ago . I was just wondering if anyone knows if my ligaments are likely to rejoin after all this time and cause potential shortening back to pre op length or if the ligament edges on the penis/ pubic bone will stay separated, resulting in no length change as it has passed the initial healing stages already?

It’s hard for me to notice any difference so far due to the swelling.

Thanks

 Hi Chris,

Have they told you that you can/should stretch? Is so from when? Other guys who have had big division - at what point were you told to stretch from? Are they guys who took it out the same surgeons who put it in?
The ligament itself is not 'raw' but the space created by the silicone is not closed - unless the put something else in there. I would be looking to stretch/hang asap within the surgeons instructions.

Thank you for your response . Once the buffer was taken out , he sutured the penis back to above the pubic bone and the wound was then closed with stitches. There was nothing else put back in the space ( ie no buffer or other material). I was reluctant to push to have anything else put back in there due the problem I recently had. Also , the doctor who removed it was not a PE specialist and wasn’t the same as the doctor who put it in originally. His main priority was to just remove the buffer and solve the discomfort it was causing.

Nevertheless I did ask him, should I expect shortening or need to do any stretching? I was told there shouldn’t be any shortening as he sutured the penis to just above the pubic bone.

So far from looking at my swelling, I can’t see any obvious shortening, however yes maybe some stretching would help to prevent retraction.

Thank you

So start soon with gentle stretching and keep us informed as to how it goes!
